Job description
- Provides specialized, technical end user support and assistance as well as advice in the use of computer hardware, software and networks to faculty, students and staff. Provides leadership, guidance and direction to related staff and consultants.
- Provide support with backup of Cloud-based systems.
- Coordinates specialized software and/or hardware installation, configuration, support and maintenance activities
- Plans implementation of new, specialized software releases; determines impact of changes and methods of facilitating end user adjustment.
- Assist with Backup and Support of Cloud-based operations such as SharePoint Online.
- Assist with testing and reporting security-based issues as well as implementing fixes
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education Minimum Experience: 5 years, Combined education/experience as substitute for minimum experience Minimum Field of Expertise: Lead responsibility for specialized user services function in a computing environment. Experience leading computer consultants or technical support staff. Familiarity with Cloud-Based Platforms - SharePoint Online experience desired. Familiarity with security-based testing of desktops and how to report security-based issues.
