Job Summary:

The Compliance Manager is responsible for the daily operational functions of the organization's compliance program and will assist the Chief Compliance Officer with the implementation of core elements of an effective compliance program as outlined in Office of Inspector General (OIG) and Department of Justice (DOJ) guidance.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA, MHA, or JD preferred.
  • Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), preferred.
  • Experience with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and Office of Inspector General (OIG) regulatory requirements and compliance program guidance in a hospital setting is strongly preferred.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist Chief Compliance Officer with the implementation of core elements of an effective Compliance Program as outlined in Office of Inspector General (OIG) and Department of Justice (DOJ) guidance.
  • Responsible for daily operational functions of the organization's compliance program.
  • Develop and provide compliance training, education, and other communications.
  • Assist with internal and external compliance auditing and monitoring activities.
  • Develop or update policies to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with documenting and investigating reported compliance concerns, implementing corrective action, and tracking resolution.
  • Assist with conducting compliance risk assessments, developing compliance work plans, tracking results, and drafting reports.
  • Manage the Office of Inspector General (OIG) exclusion and sanction screening process.
  • Develop metrics, track progress, and draft reports that demonstrate the effectiveness of the Compliance Program.
  • Assist in drafting reports and preparing for Audit and Compliance Committee meetings.
  • Research federal and state health care program (e.g., Medicare and Medicaid) regulatory compliance requirements and stay current on relevant industry and government compliance program guidance, including emerging laws, rules, regulations, and CMS reimbursement requirements impacting the organization.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or directed to meet the goals and objectives of the compliance department and the organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
