Person Directed Supports Inc. Certified Investigator (CI) role conducts internal investigations to protect the welfare, safety and rights of Individuals with Intellectual disabilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

· Creates/promotes a culture centered on building self directed lives with its people we support.

· Maintains the Office of Developmental Program's (ODP) Certified Investigator Status. Training and courses designated and assigned by Person Directed Supports Inc. in compliance with ODP's regulations. Prior or current certification not needed but preferred. Knowledge of the ODP investigation process a plus.

· Oversee and manage all aspects of Person Directed Supports, Inc., Certified Investigations both Internal and External.

· Complete all necessary paperwork for PDSI’s Certified Investigators.

· Travel within Lehigh, Northampton, Bucks, Delaware and Chester county areas. Travel to the Lancaster, York, and Chambersburg Areas and other locations as developed if needed..

· Member of Certified Investigation Peer Review Committee reviewing investigations.

· Understand and comply with all applicable ODP regulations as they pertain to Certified Investigations.

· Ensures all program components are in compliance with all regulatory guidelines.

· Conducts ongoing trainings in Abuse and Neglect, Certified Investigations, etc.

· Abides by established policies and procedures of the agency, county, and state.

· Participates in required in-service training and professional growth activities to include completion of 24 hours a year.

· Completes all other assigned tasks by PDSI supervisory staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years experience working directly with persons with Intellectual Disabilities.
