POSITION SUMMARY:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the Compensation & HRIS team by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, developing and counseling staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions; resolving employee relations issues and implementing change.
- Lead, coach and develop HR team members, and hold team members accountable for high performance towards company cultural expectations, personal performance goals, and HR competencies.
- Responsible for Compensation budget planning in partnership with the HR Director.
- Responsible to design, oversee, communicate, and implement the Compensation & HRIS vision, strategy, programs, and processes.
- Responsible for overall HRIS system, implementations, and data integrity in partnership with the HRIS Administrator and HR Manager, Benefits.
- Evaluate and compare existing company compensation plans against market trends, and business needs to best fulfill the Total Rewards Strategy.
- Response for all Compensation KPIs and metrics.
- Manage annual salary increase budgeting and salary increase proposal process, including reviewing salary adjustments and merit increase proposals.
- Work with outside compensation specialists on market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitiveness and are in alignment with philosophy and external market.
- Manages all aspect of the company variable compensation plans, including Sales Incentive Plans (SIPs), Sales Management Incentive Plans (SMIPs) and Management Incentive Plans (MIPs).
- Utilize HR analytics and research industry best practices to identify trends and opportunities: develop strategies and tactics based on those trends and provides management with recommendations.
- As a strategic HR partner, guide and direct leaders in all areas of compensation and align solutions with business needs.
- Participate in and contribute to the global HR function by partnering with other HR representatives and leaders on a global level.
- Promote an environment of positive employee relations, maintaining confidentiality, establishing trust and credibility and demonstrating high-level of integrity.
- Keep Director, Human Resources and Organizational Development informed of status of work assigned and recommends improvements when justified
- Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Master’s degree and/or SPHR highly preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Compensation
- 3+ years management or mentorship experience
Other Qualifications
- Strong experience with all aspects of Compensation, including both variable and base designs, plans and management.
- Strong understanding and application of HR law and compliance
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations/documentation as well as exhibit impeccable work ethics and integrity
- Ability to take a global perspective and be collaborative by participating and contributing to the global HR function.
- Ability to provide leadership, work collaboratively on teams and consult effectively and independently with all levels of the organization
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills and strong attention to detail
- Experience with HRIS &Total Reward Systems
- Legally permitted to work in the United States
- Ability to work in a general office environment
- Ability to travel 10-15% of the time
