Job description
The Program & Outreach Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing a number of comprehensive strategies impacting community health awareness programs to support UnityPoint Health – Trinity and its mission. This includes needs assessments, planning, promotion, coordination, implementation and evaluation of programs, projects and events at the direction of department managers.

Responsibilities:
- Track Trinity-wide community benefit activities year-around
- Communicate with, encourage, and remind staff and leaders to enter their community benefit activities
- Record CB activities in CBISA
- Follow-up with staff who have not reported activities
- Work with finance on data collection and input
- Coordinate outreach activities related to priorities identified in CHIP
- Identify outreach opportunities
- Develop events that meet goals and strategies
Minimum Requirements
Identify items that are minimally required to perform the essential functions of this position.
Preferred or Specialized
Not required to perform the essential functions of the position.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or direct and applicable work experience.
Preferred fields: Public Relations, Communication, Community Relations, Population Health
Experience:
Collecting, tracking and analyzing data.
Community outreach & sponsor relations.
2 years experience in developing, planning and executing projects. Experience working in a not for profit environment.
License(s)/Certification(s):
Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
