The Manager, Community Facilities & Renovations, plans, organizes, directs, develops, designs, co-ordinates, maintains, implements and designates capital improvement projects for Lutheran SeniorLife Systems. This will include operations and start-up projects, day to day operations to ensure that goals and objectives of facilities operations and projects are accomplished and maintained within the prescribed time frames and funding parameters; works within a matrix relationship with internal management and external clients and suppliers, such as real estate development and financial planning.

In partnership with LeadingAge PA, Careers to Love PA campaign to raise the profile of careers in the growing field of senior care.
Qualifications:
  • Associates’ or Bachelors’ degree (B.S.) in Architecture or engineering management is preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in facility services, maintenance or project management required.

  • Must understand the basic principles of real estate management.

  • Must be able to serve as on-site construction project coordinator.

  • Skilled in the use of project management and design development software. Also must be able to read architectural and engineering blueprints.
  • Significant level of understanding of architectural, mechanical, electrical and civil aspects to assist in the development of projects is required.
  • Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
