What you’ll do:
Working in Services Experience in Professional Services, the Community Engagement Manager will be responsible for the following primary duties:
Engage the Teacher's Corner Facebook Community, responding to teacher questions and planning new monthly tips to share. Scout for potential teacher contributors and advocates.
Project manage the Live Events process from monthly sprint planning to production.
Partner with product owner on all Teacher’s Corner Live Events, ensuring the resources and calendars are developed to guidelines, on time, and updated within the publishing plan.
Moderate most Teacher’s Corner Live Events, ensuring that the sign on process goes smoothly, questions are being answered, and there’s a good dialogue across the event.
Manage pre and post live event communication and provide monthly reports of live events experiences from registration and attendance rates to overall engagement metrics to inform the following month’s planning. Look for trends to inspire new topics and ideas.
What you’ll need:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience (K-5) with a focus on reading comfortable in math pedagogy and strategy.
Bachelor’s Degree (Elementary Education or English preferred)
Minimum of 1 year technical experience (experience working w/ social platforms and/or communities such as Facebook, Reddit, and/or YouTube. Canva, Google Suite, Adobe, Microsoft Suite, Zoom, Screencastify or similar)
Experience in: Presenting, Blogging, Making Videos, providing Professional Development
Understanding of: Instructional Frameworks and current Educational Best Practices, Social Marketing,
Ability to: manage time, adapt, be flexible, self-motivate, prioritize, to persuade, problem solve, be innovative
People skills needed: Communicate effectively : public speaking, writing, and listening; Build Relationships : relate to others, patience, empathetic, genuine ; Collaborate
Nice to Have:
Elementary preferred
Science of Reading Endorsement preferred
Bilingual is a plus

Salary Range - $70,000 to $82,000. Our salary ranges are based on national averages. We have wide ranges so we can be flexible and determine compensation based on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education, and location.
