The Sr. Process Analyst is responsible f o r providing operational support to the f ield for new/modified systems, products, and other reques t s across assigned l ines of bu s iness. Responsib i lit i es in clude collabora t ion and coord i nation across In f orma t ion Technology (I/T), Office of Gener a l Counsel (OGC), Lines of B u siness, Learning & D e velopmen t (L&D) , Branc h Resource C e nte r (BRC) , fiel d staff , an d othe r st akeholders. Extensive analysis is r e quired in support of new/changed system functionality and p r ocess/workflows. R e sponsibilities include the development of Talking Points Memo communications along wit h desig n an d maint enance of workflows and reference m a ter i als us e d by the var i ous rol e s asso c i a ted with the fi e ld, Underwriting Centers and Processing Centers.The Sr. Process Analyst is also responsible for leading and/or pa r tici p atin g i n comple x projects . Responsibilities include problem analysis/resolution, the creation of new or updated workflows and process documentation, field communications and compliance-related activities. This analyst will have critical input on certain business support functions, such as underwriter and UA process/workflow, system functionality analysis and process design, system testing, problem analysis and resolution, business requirement analysis, policy research/analysis and communications to the field. Th e se p rojects require extensive interaction and coordinat i o n wit h othe r areas , activ e participation in project meetings, coordination of project tasks, and documentation of p r oject r e quirements. The Sr. P r oc es s Analys t i s expecte d to understand and manage the technical impac t o f a project , manage/negotiate pro j ect dates, and unde r stand/influence the impact of project design to process r oles and field processes/ workflows.
The Sr. Process Analyst is also responsible for providing subject matter expertise and second/third level support f or questions regarding the systems and lines of business supported. The Sr. Process A n alyst is expected to identify f ield-rel ate d processin g and/or problem trends, analyze them and convert them to recommended workflow enhancements and a ppropriate associated communications.
Majo r Duties and Res p o n s ibi l i ties
Create, update and revise workflows and procedures based on new or established guidelines; communicate to impacted parties or areas using established standards.
Provide subject matter expertise for reported problems and questions for various LOBs/systems/processes including (but not limited to) CUW, Genius, Xcelerate, Tracker, Reinsurance, CMQ, Duck Creek platforms, Insurity platforms, etc., and accurately identify appropriate resolutions/workarounds within established time frames.
Maintain the department’s data repositories, documents, and reports according to existing protocols.
Prepare scheduled and requested reports on a timely basis to support Operations Underwriting initiatives, monitor trends, and notify appropriate parties or areas for attention and / or needed actions.
Provide complex data mining for information necessary for special projects. Design and/or utilize efficient reporting tools where appropriate.
Create and/or execute test plans/scenarios for user acceptance testing (UAT) and be able to provide relevant feedback to home office underwriting managers
Provide compliance operational support for field underwriters and UAAs, home office managers, CI Compliance manager and OGC business partners

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
Previous operations and underwriting, training and/or experie n ce.
Tec h nical understanding of Systems/Platforms.
Knowledge of branch, Underwriting, Process i ng Center and h o me office environment.
Knowledge of field organization a n d integration of systems into operational processes.
Knowledge of property and casual t y commercial insurance products.
Tec h nica l experienc e wit h demonstra t e d skill s i n a n alysis , impac t assessment, scopi n g, and docume n ting of complex requirements .
