Vantage’s current network is composed of twelve active airports and one rail station, in locations ranging from large capital cities and tourist destinations to smaller destinations in the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, and Europe. These include the $5.1B redevelopment of LaGuardia’s Terminal B in New York, and Chicago’s Midway International Airport, where Vantage created an innovative partnership to transform and manage the airport’s concession program.

At Kansas City International Airport, we are part of Kansas City Airport Partners , the company formed to develop the airport’s concession program and provide management. As managing partner, the onsite Vantage team provides oversight and management for the day-to-day operation and overall development.

We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven Commercial Analyst to provide important business insights and insure operational and financial compliance is maintained. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Vantage’s ongoing success and be involved in a new innovative business model.

• Perform descriptive data analysis that shows the potential impact of changes in passenger behavior and market conditions, including construction schedules and how they will impact sales by using a variety of statistical modeling methods
• Develop predictive analysis templates to improve revenue and market share, forecasting processes and accuracy; includes promoting the value of standardized templates, from which custom-built solutions can be developed
• Prepare both written reports and visual presentations to share findings with the Commercial Team through daily, weekly, or monthly meetings
• Coordinate and manages an array of existing reports, ensuring timely delivery to senior management
• Work with, build, and maintain database and business intelligence tools, including the commissioning and decommissioning of data sets. Design and develop new reports that provide insight for multiple audiences including the Commercial Team, and the Vantage Executive Team
• Distill market intelligence in a timely manner to inform decision makers throughout the organization
• Comfortable using data visualization tools such as PowerBi and Tableau

• Review contracts for compliance
• Review contracts, verify accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Ensure relevant documentation accompanies contracts and maintain digital and hard copies of relevant documentation

• Monitors accounts receivable information and identifies noncompliance
• Monitors construction phasing and identifies capital impact
• Works as a liaison between concession partners and Corporate Finance

• Use initiative to research and identify areas of improvement or opportunity
• Stay abreast of market trends within their industry as a whole
• Monitor competitors, from new business, to financial results (for publicly traded companies)

• Preferred previous experience in a business or financial analysis role
• Advanced-level skills in Excel; proficiency in Word and Outlook
• Strong analytical skills, with consistent, high-quality, accurate results
• Restaurant or Retail experience preferred
