Responsibilities

The applicant will be responsible for taking on the duties of a C-Suite level office administrator reporting to senior Space Force personnel. Applicant will also be responsible for supporting host requirements for senior Space Force leadership, senior government officials, senior defense support contractors, and community leaders. Specific job duties entail preparing reports/papers, briefings, executive correspondence, maintaining outlook appointment calendars, and managing Defense Travel System. Applicant will also be responsible for coordinating activities with the organization’s protocol and executive officer.

Skills Required

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a minimum seven (7) years of Executive Administrator experience to include a minimum of 4 years working in a space program environment. Ideal applicants will possess the following skills and experience:
  • Proficient in the use of M/S office applications, i.e., M/S Outlook, MS Teams, Zoom.gov, Task Management Tool (TMT), Defense Travel System (DTS), Project, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and quantitative analytical skills are required
  • Applicant must be able to work in a team environment
  • Program management experience, strategic planning experience, or senior-level government office administration experience working in a “CAG”-like environment is desirable
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition policies
  • Working knowledge of the DoD acquisition and project management processes
  • Active Secret security clearance is required (US Citizenship required)

Education

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
