As a key accounting team member, the Collections Specialist will support the Company in its growth and goals by working with customers and internal team members to ensure timely collection of B2B invoices. The ideal candidate is ambitious, motivated and prioritizes quality communication with customers and team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue invoices
• Contact customers to address delinquent accounts
• Work with customers to bring account current, collaborating with team members throughout the organization
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers, as a key component of our comprehensive customer service approach
• Collaborate with Accounting Analyst and in ensuring proper application of cash receipts to customer records
• Work with Assistant Controller and Billing Specialist to resolve customer questions and concerns that may prevent timely collection
• Document communications, discussions, and resolutions to ensure information is available for the broader finance team
• Report on collections activity and customer account updates to open visibility to progress and challenges
• Support the implementation of Celigo and Tesorio applications to reduce manual effort in collection efforts
• Support evaluation of credit applications and new customer set-up procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4-6 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Strong customer service experience, including conflict resolution experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Willingness to take on new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments
• Experience with NetSuite preferred
• Experience with Salesforce preferred

This position pays a minimum base salary of $80,000 + Bonus/Commissions + Equity + Benefits. The actual compensation offer will be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, applicant's qualifications, skills, and experience.
