Job description

A key aspect to this position includes acting as a liaison between the underwriting Partners (EUP), Collection Agencies, and Collection Attorneys. This person will be required to collaborate with the senior level business leaders both internally and externally to effectively manage collection accounts that have been referred to external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage various Business Segment Account’s returned for collections
• Provide leadership and advice to staff
• Ensure contractual compliance
• Develop and perform periodic departmental quality reviews
• Reconciliation and posting of insurance receipts
• Monthly Deposit Suspense Reconciliations
• Work collaboratively with other functional areas on collection accounts (Underwriting, Finance, Claims, Billing)
• Providing financial information for reserve recommendations

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree in accounting, finance or business
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, interpersonal skills, the ability to work well in a professional, team-oriented environmental
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Proficient Microsoft Application skills, especially Excel
• Solid analytical skills
• Insurance background is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
