Job Description

The job responsibilities of a Cognos BI Developer includes designing, developing, deploying, and managing BI portals and Cognos Securities. The candidate should design and develop test plans to successfully deliver projects.

Skills Required

Extraction Transform Load (ETL);

IBM Cognos Business Intelligence

Responsibilities
5+ years of overall experience in ETL technologies and development and implementation of EDW/ BI projects.

0-2 years of experience working as a developer or an equivalent educational qualification.

Good understanding of Cognos Analytics.

Solid understanding of Framework Manager Dimensional Modeling, Transformer Cubes, Design, and Development.

Good knowledge of writing advanced queries and executing stored procedures.

Ability to take care of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities.

Understand system documentation, requirements, and specifications to learn the software and be able to test develop the requested system changes.

Develop technical design document based on functional specifications and detailed requirements

Experience in writing SQL code in the form of stored procedures, functions, or triggers.

Experience with relational databases (Example: Oracle, IBM DB2, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL etc.)

Experience in working on a reporting tool like IBM Cognos/ Tableau/ OBIEE

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $88,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
