Emerge is currently recruiting qualified candidates for several direct hire CNC Machinist jobs near Clifton Springs, NY in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of New York state, for our client, a growing ESOP manufacturer of high-quality components used in a variety of industries including aerospace, medical, oil and gas, and other industries.

We are seeking candidates of all CNC machining levels for a variety of positions on the second shift. Responsibilities for the CNC Machinist Job in Clifton Springs, NY Include:

• Maintain efficient production processes with minimal assistance.
• Setups as needed and perform basic setups.
• Operates advanced inspection tools, e.g., CMM, surface finish and roundness measuring equipment, etc.
• Contribute to the development and performance of lower-level employees.
• Able to meet productivity and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience
• To achieve upper-level Production Machinists position, must have the ability to operate complex equipment and jobs.
• High level of machine control abilities, e.g., good understanding of all machine functions, crash avoidance skills, and an ability to prove-out process changes.
• Familiar with all common tooling, processes, attachments, etc. Can adjust and maintain common tooling and attachments as needed.
