We're seeking extraordinary individuals to join our nursing team as CNAs, and we'd like to train you to become one! Willow Valley Communities hosts a CNA Training program here on campus. If hired for a position, we will pay for the full expense of the class, you will earn a wage while you attend the class, and we'll also pay for you to take your state exam and become certified! Our training program is a full-time, day shift schedule. Once completing the class, you would begin working the schedule you were hired for. To attend the class, you will need to accept a position with Willow Valley Communities.

Responsibilities:

• Care for Residents in a skilled care setting under direction of nursing and medical staff.

• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine Residents' needs.

• Bathes, dresses, and grooms Residents, as part of their Activities of Daily Living. Toilets Residents according to schedule and as needed.

• Will document care on Relias computer system.

• Models exemplary customer service in all interactions with Team Members, Residents, and all others at WVC.

• Distributes clean linens and supplies.

• Transports soiled linens and trash to the appropriate location.

• Keeps required supplies stocked in Residents’ rooms.

• Labels Residents personal items, glasses, clothing, toiletries.

• Cleans equipment as directed by team leader (i.e., wheelchairs/recliners).

• Makes beds and change the linens as required.

• Attends training sessions and in-services as required by department and facility policy.

CNA Training is 15 days long with no absences allowed. The hours for the class are M-F day. You will be assigned a position that works best with your schedule and what we have available at the time of the conclusion of your class,
