ConMet - Canton, NC location is looking for an experienced CMM Programmer to support our Quality department.
Shift - Days.
What You Will Do:
- Determine probe tooling and fixturing necessary to properly measure parts.
- Set up fixturing, import IGES files from CAD system, write measurement programs and perform full first article/PPAP dimensional inspections to CAD data using PC-DMIS on DCC CMM.
- Collect and analyze measurement/statistical data through capability studies.
- Analyze and report CMM results and communicates findings to customers and engineering.
- Conduct gage R&R’s and MSA’s.
- Calibrate gages under company procedure specifications.
- Utilize Gage Trak software to maintain records of gage and calibrations.
What You Need to Be Successful:
- Minimum of 5 years of Metrology inspection experience and 2 year technical and/or community college course work; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CMM101 and CMM201 Hexagon Certification and/or equivalent experience.
- Must have successfully completed an approved GD&T certification; Ex: Hexagon, ASME, Mitutoyo
- Experience using layout equipment to inspect parts.
