Job Title: Cloud Analytics Engineer (Only on W2 and Onsite Day1)

Location: Detroit, MI or Charlotte, NC or Lewisville, TX

Position Description:

Provides key expertise in the development and enablement of enterprise analytics capabilities that provide clarity to our key success criteria. Designs and implements scalable solutions from available cloud services and analytics tooling as part of an enterprise platform to achieve specific business objectives.

Candidate is a technical expert helping to lead a team of talented analytics engineers in the consolidation and refinement of our data architecture and business intelligence dashboards. Partners with cloud engineers, information security, core infrastructure teams and application developers to enable agility through best-in-class automation and infrastructure as code.

The candidate should have deep hands on experience with technical implementations for cloud and solutions as well as the capability to deliver those solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and partner with counterparts from Security, Enterprise Architecture, and CIO application teams
• Design and implement solutions that measure and demonstrate the value of our service offering.
• Implement automation that validates controls for security, compliance, and audit
• Lead initiatives that improve Cloud Engineering, Cloud Enablement and even our Infrastructure organization.
• Stay focused on business objectives and use measurements to track success of our architecture and implementation
• Champion a collaborative development approach in tune with our Agile methodology
• Assist with the architecture and implementation of infrastructure-as-code, and policy-as-code objectives.

Qualifications:

• Preferred Certifications: AWS, Python, PowerBI, SQL, Terraform, CloudFormation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related relevant experience
• 5+ years of industry experience, architecting analytics solutions on-premise or in AWS
• 2+ years of experience of cloud architecture and related technologies
• Background in data structures, business reports, ETL/ELT Comfortable building solutions, such as BI dashboards, statistical modeling, and advanced analytics
• Experienced with databases and other ways to store data; able to construct a cohesive data architecture
• Some Container Management experience with ECS Fargate, Docker, or Kubernetes
• Experience with testing your code and automating those tests
• Hands on experience with PowerBI, SQL, and RDBMS databases.
