Job Summary
MSW Social Work position 40 hours at the Martha Eliot Health Center in Jamaica Plain. This clinical social work position will work as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team providing behavioral health/psychosocial consultation. This clinic is a very busy setting serving many diverse families who may have children with complex medical needs, ongoing stressors related to poverty and or lack of social support

This Clinical Social Worker Martha Eliot Health Center will be responsible for:
- Providing a variety of functions including brief behavioral health treatment, assessment and referral
- Parent support and education, advocacy, crisis assessment, and education of medical residents.
- Close collaboration with nursing, doctors, social work colleagues, patient navigators and mental health clinicians.
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, and LCSW or LICSW is required.
- Flexibility and ability to work in fast-paced dynamic environment essential as well as excellent communication and consultation skills.
- Experience in community agency, medical environment and/or child development helpful.
- Bilingual/bicultural candidates are encouraged to apply. Spanish speaking strongly preferred.
