The Research Division within a large specialty practice is seeking a full time Clinical Research Receptionist, with background and experience in medical research setting and administrative/receptionist support. This position is onsite with no remote work available; our research division is Denver, in the Lowry area. If you are looking for an exciting career in medical research this is great opportunity. Pay Range offered: $23 - $26 per hour commensurate with experience with potential for pay increase based on performance.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Under general supervision, this position provides administrative assistance to the Investigators, the Site Manager, and Clinical Research Coordinators (CRC), including but not limited to the following:
- Assist the research coordinators in the maintenance of their study participants case load
- General administrative tasks (filing, answering phones and front door)
- Checking in and rooming patients
- Disinfect and prep exam rooms between patients
- Receiving, unpacking, and putting away all shipments to research division
- Ensure the appropriate receipt and storage of investigational agents
- Ensure that all mail and pertinent study documents are opened and distributed in a timely manner
- Effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with research patients, staff and physicians
- Obtain medical records from outside facilities as appropriate
- Scheduling and confirming of appointments for research patients
- Updating lab spreadsheets
- Copy medical records and prepare source charts for potential research subjects
- Accurate and reliable preparation of Research Charts
- Accurate and reliable preparation of labs kits/requisitions for study visits
- Obtain procedure and lab results from outside vendors
- Attach patient and administrative records in electronic medical records system
- Processing, packing, and shipping of laboratory specimens with appropriate documentation as needed
- Assist with coordination of study patient meals and beverages
- Process payments to research subjects as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Required Experience:
Advanced Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel skills- Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information and documentation in a secure and HIPAA compliant manner.
- Capable of prioritizing daily tasks and goals that are communicated by multiple parties
- Ability to multitask and demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Able to function at a high level of efficiency with minimal supervision
- Ability to focus and maintain critical data to complete tasks accurately
- Competent and respectful written communication skills and verbal/written etiquette
- Advanced level of analytical thinking and problem solving
- Demonstrate ability to proactively identify problems and follow through to resolution
- Willingness to travel to CKC clinic offices and dialysis units
- Able and willing to use own transportation for travel between the Research office, units and other work sites when needed
- Valid Driver’s license and MVR in good standing
Required Certifications (can be completed on-site):
- Blood Borne Pathogens
- NIH Training- “Protecting Human Research Subjects”
- CPR (as applicable)
COVID vaccination is requires and employees must provide proof of vaccination upon hire. Wearing face mask while at work is also required.
