The Nemours Children's Health Endocrine Research Department is searching for a
Clinical Research Coordinator. In this role the responsibilities will entail the coordination, implementation and completion of clinical research studies in children and adolescents with a variety of endocrine disorders including type 1 diabetes, disorders of growth and puberty and many others.
Under the supervision of the Principal Investigators this role blends closely with a multidisciplinary team of talented specialists, nurse practitioners, fellows and research coordinators working together as a team to assess mechanisms of disease, new drugs, and exciting new technology.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Clinical Research Coordinator will also participate in IRB submissions, assisting in regulatory document preparation and collection, in-servicing research teams.
Qualifications:

Primary Responsibilities:
- Assisting the study team with recruiting study participants
- Obtaining parental permission/assent
- Educating parents/participants
- Scheduling and conducting study procedures
- Collecting and recording study data,
- Maintaining study records
- Interfacing with study sponsors
- Participation in sponsor study monitoring visits
The Clinical Research Coordinator will also participate in IRB submissions, assisting in regulatory document preparation and collection, in-servicing research teams.
Qualifications:
- Research experience is preferred but not mandatory, we are willing to train in both the clinical and research aspects of the position.
- Bachelor's degree required
