Clinical Manager

Our outpatient facility has clients who receive specialized and personal care from our staff. Our newly remodeled outpatient facility is located in Sacramento, CA.

Positions available:

  • Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Performs direct clinical care providing group, individual and family therapy, crisis intervention, and service recovery opportunities.
  • Ensuring clinical programming meets all quality, safety, and certification standards.
  • Overseeing operational functions of the program including but not limited to personnel recruitment, vendor management, budgetary responsibility, and procurement of supplies, services, and materials.
  • Oversees all scheduled program activities, including implementing new program requirements approved by upper management.
  • Providing formal clinical supervision of post-doctorate psychology fellow(s) and/or master's level registered associates.
  • Directly managing staff including regular performance evaluations, scheduling to ensure total coverage of programming, corrective actions, hiring, training and onboarding.
  • Providing clinical consultation and training to clinical staff.
  • Completion of clinical documentation and regular chart auditing.
  • Participates in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences.
  • Conducts outcome assessments, collects data, and analyzes the data.
  • Engage in community outreach when needed which may include making connections with local organizations, clinics, hospitals, employes, schools, and other potential referral sources.
  • Participates in process improvement to meet program and organizational goals as it relates to safety, quality, and fiscal management.
  • Builds collaborative relationships within the organization and externally.
  • Communicates effectively with others in person and over the telephone.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must have an active license regulated by a state board in a relevant mental health field (psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling).
  • Must possess a masters or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy or other related mental health field.
  • Have at minimum five years in behavioral health/medical settings.
  • Familiarization with HIPAA/client confidentiality and personal rights.
  • Proficiency with computer office productivity tools - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Must possess a current CPR and First Aid certification. (Can be obtained upon hire).

Preferred education and experience:

  • Two to five years of experience in drug and alcohol counseling and/or mental health therapy.
  • Two to five years of experience in an administrative role managing people.

Salary: $141,440- $212,160

The posted pay range is a reasonable estimate that the organization believes in good faith it may pay for this particular job based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
