Job Description:
To be considered for this position you must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy program. The responsibility of this position is leadership. This includes but is not limited to facility operations, staff management, and training. This position will be responsible for administering physical therapy treatment plans designed to alleviate pain, restore function, prevent disabilities and promote the overall fitness and health of patients.
Accountabilities:
1. Leadership:
- Clinical - Leading clinicians in the daily tasks of providing treatment.
- Operations – Manages a staff that includes clinicians, customer care coordinators, PT technicians, and other team members. Manages the physical appearance of the facility and is responsible for financial performance.
- Community – Promote a community presence by attending local events, joining a local civic organization, volunteering for community events, building relationships with key community leaders, and participating in any other activity that promotes both the betterment of the local community and Dynamix’s clinic.
2. Team Member: Provide skilled physical therapy treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results of patients. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and management. Attends meetings as requested. Perform other duties as assigned.
3. Daily Operations: Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, recommending and/or providing assistive equipment; and recommending follow-up programs. Maintain patient records confidentiality. Supervise and direct all clinical staff in direct patient care and related activities as requested.
4. Clinical Operations: Maintain a clean work area, exam rooms, and supplies. Maintain a professional appearance and personal conduct at all times. Enforce and follow all Dynamix Physical Therapy policies and procedures. Keep regular clinic hours as approved by the corporate leadership team.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program.
- Current Physical Therapist license.
