The School of Health Professions – Department of Clinical and Diagnostic Sciences – Nuclear Medicine Program at the University of Missouri (MU) - Columbia invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track, Clinical Coordinator to serve at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor or Professor, Clinical/Teaching, with teaching and service responsibilities.

Qualifications


Qualified candidates should have earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally or nationally accredited academic institution, hold certification and registration in nuclear medicine technology from a national certification board, and have a minimum of two years post-certification nuclear medicine technology experience.


Candidates may be evaluated on graduate degree or progress toward a graduate degree, other NMTCB or ARRT credentials, and/or outcomes of nuclear medicine technology teaching.

The Department of Clinical and Diagnostic Sciences – Nuclear Medicine Program includes an undergraduate entry to practice program and an online master’s program that prepares credentialed nuclear medicine technologists for leadership. The undergraduate program has earned accreditation by Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Program outcomes meet or exceed accreditation thresholds for student retention, job placement, and credential success. MU NM program faculty are actively engaged in service to the nuclear medicine profession and the university. The NM program is one of five undergraduate programs in the Clinical & Diagnostic Sciences Department, which values a collegial environment that supports the intellectual and professional growth of their faculty. The Clinical & Diagnostic Sciences Department is one of eight departments within the School of Health Professions, a rapidly expanding school within the University of Missouri.
