Department Summary
The School of Health Professions is proud to provide opportunities for a diverse student body to obtain the knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary to serve in the health care professions and to continue their development throughout their professional careers. The School of Health Professions was approved by the University of North Texas System Board of Regents on May 20, 2004 and subsequently approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board on July 8, 2004.
Presently, the School is comprised of three academic departments: The Department of Physician Assistant Studies (PA), the Department of Physical Therapy (PT), and Lifestyle Health Sciences (LHS) with degree programs leading to a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Masters of Physician Assistant Studies, or Master of Science in Lifestyle Health Sciences and Coaching.
PT and PA programs include inter-professional experiences designed to prepare students to be contributing members of the healthcare team. The newly added M.S. in Lifestyle Health Sciences & Coaching is an innovative program designed to provide the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to become a credentialed health and wellness coach with a specialization in lifestyle medicine. Approximately 29 faculty members provide high quality education and instruction to the School’s over 400 students and are supported by 18 members of the professional staff.

This position is secured through August 31, 2023 with the possibility of extension.

Position Overview
The Clinic Service Representative will perform clerical duties using specific clinic procedures. Duties will include greeting patients and visitors arriving for appointments, scheduling follow- up appointments, compiling reports and correspondence, updating charts, ordering and maintaining an inventory of supplies, assisting with maintaining a clean and safe clinic environment and assisting with administrative daily tasks and projects for the PT program.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and three (3) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in clinic office setting
Experience with pcard

Required License / Registration / Certification

Work Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
(This position is secured through August 31, 2023 with the possibility of extension)

Greet patients and visitors for FitSteps for Life and HSC Physical Health and direct them to the appropriate staff.
