Description
This position will be responsible for completing all in-scope support services, including break-fix, desk-side support, new system installation, move/add/change, and asset tracking activities. This position will provide in-depth technical hardware and software support for all desktop and laptop platforms supported. Job function will require independent thinking.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform direct hands-on problem resolution and escalation management for end-user troubles, application service interruptions and issues.
- Identifies, develop, and deploy appropriate courses of action to resolve local and enterprise problems
- Provide Tier 3 technical support of issues escalation from Tier 1 Service Desk & Client Systems I Analysts
- Hardware tracking, asset management and hardware ordering
- Installation and maintenance of printers and fax machines
- Hardware/Asset decommission and disposal
- Maintenance and Upgrading of Computer Systems or offering recommendations on needed upgrades
- Installation of organizations Images to desktop, laptop, point of sale, etc.
- Coordination of computer maintenance with other IT departments within the organization
- Contributes to various projects and implementation
- Assists in developing policies and procedures that align with best practices
- Creation of Documentation, Manuals and information for the IT Knowledgebase
- Communicates effectively with customers, management, and peers both verbally and in writing
- Execute planned activities involved in the planning, deployment, and support of small, medium and large infrastructure, application and organizational projects.
- May travel offsite for IT support as requested
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree Preferred, Microsoft Certification Preferred
- 3-5 years of professional experience in an IT environment.
