We are a small, but fast-growing virtual law firm based in Atlanta, Georgia, looking for an exceptional Client Services Manager (also called our Non-Attorney Salesperson) to ensure that the firm is always putting its best foot forward for potential new clients.

The position will entail sales, client retention, and business development.

Someone who is a really good salesperson who wants to have an impact on the people we help, the community in the field of law, and the law firm. The right person will have drive, ambition, be a leader, and will be relentless and caring.

This position is only for exceptional salespeople who can both sell legal services and cultivate new relationships to generate new leads and close the leads which are provided by the marketing team. We provide training in what you need to know to best help our clients, and for the right person, this will be a highly rewarding position personally, professionally, and financially.

We need a bright, creative, empathetic, and compassionate person who can convey the value of our services to potential clients and enhance our client experience. You will work closely with other members of the team to develop and maintain relationships with clients and referral sources. You will help us realize our vision of helping more people!

This is a great position for you if you are an experienced salesperson ready to explore new frontiers by bringing your expertise to the legal industry. Our Client Services Manager doesn’t give legal advice, so legal experience is not required. Experience working with financial services companies in the RIA and BD world is desirable, but not required.

Compensation:

$105,000 - $125,000 base per year +

Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Develop and maintain a thorough and specific understanding of the capabilities of My RIA Lawyer’s practices, including prior experience, clients and industries served, and distinguishing characteristics of practices.
  • Work with staff to identify opportunities for up-selling across the Firm’s clients. Vet these opportunities and facilitate their pursuit in a coordinated manner.
  • Monitor new developments at the assigned client level and communicate regularly with key stakeholders on significant client developments and resulting opportunities. Maintain and track industry and client-level issues facing organizations and apply those findings to the sales strategy for assigned clients and prospects.
  • Maintain the client database to ensure information is current on leads
  • Record monthly and quarterly sales and performance goals to ensure KPIs are met
  • Assess qualified leads, convert clients and provide quick turnaround
  • Be tech-savvy (we use law firm systems and cloud-based software)

We will judge success in this position by the following outcomes:

  • Engage 200 new clients for legal services in year one with a closing rate of greater than 60%
  • Sell 5 subscription plans per month
  • Deliver sales reports, including reporting follow-up activity that are at least 99% accurate each week and month

Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of the sales process and CRM software

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, and seven or more years of related experience are required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Significant business development experience is required. Prior experience working in a large legal or financial services firm is preferred
  • Must possess strong business and client development acumen with the ability to effectively articulate value propositions and practice/attorney differentiation.
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter. Thrive in a fast-paced organization, maintain a growth mindset, intellectual curiosity and be agile in an ever-changing environment and maintain a positive attitude as a contributor to that change.
  • Knowledge of services and capabilities of legal practices. Must develop credibility by building upon that knowledge, specific to the practices supported at My RIA Lawyer. Understanding of the business of law firms and client relationship management.
  • Must possess strong independent judgment in order to establish and manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a demanding, fast-paced, deadline-driven, detail-oriented work environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential. Attention to detail and precision in both thinking and written work product is important.
  • Ability to communicate with courtesy and diplomacy, in order to maintain effective relationships with a diverse group of financial services professionals.
  • Superior analytical and critical thinking skills that support strong problem-solving capabilities are necessary.
  • Excellent project and time management skills.
  • Ability to understand and support the Firm’s goals, services, culture, and strategy in order to represent the Firm in a positive, professional manner.
