DealerTrack - Project Support Specialist II

The Project Support Specialist II works directly with clients to assist them with completing the initial setups and testing for their dealership on the DMS software, performs application reviews with clients for new dealerships coming on to the Dealertrack DMS and works directly with clients to test the functionality of their system prior to go-live.

Essential Functions:

  • Set up each of the applications for new dealerships on the DMS software
  • Test items with the dealership to ensure that setups are in place
  • Perform setup consultations/testing calls with dealership personnel to review all settings and answer questions on how processes work
  • Makes changes to the setups as requested or required
  • Work with dealership personnel to review, edit and clean the chart of accounts
  • Perform reviews/testing/audits with the client prior to Go-Live
  • Performs troubleshooting with dealerships on application issues
  • Perform other duties as required


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • General data entry experience
  • General knowledge of internal processes at car dealerships
  • Advanced DMS knowledge
  • Time management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Good Communication skills
  • Typing 50+ WPM


Required Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field . The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience; or 5 years' experience in a related field
  • A valid U.S. driver's license
  • Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  • General data entry experience
  • General knowledge of internal processes at car dealerships
  • Advanced DMS knowledge
  • Time management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Good Communication skills
  • Typing 50+ WPM


Preferred Qualifications:


  • 1+ years Dealertrack DMS Experience
  • Experience with client remote training
