NRGUSA is looking for a Clerk at a hearing and speech office located in East Islip N.Y.

Salary will be disussed during the interview

Position Requirements And Qualifications:

Under the supervision and direction of the Department Director, Outpatient Billing Coordinator and Outpatient Clinical Coordinators and in addition to having the ability to perform all Clerk I’s duties, the Clerk II coordinates patient insurance benefits for Rehabilitation Services and registration of all new patients.

Education:

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent

Skills:

Strong Computer Skills, as well as communication and customer service skills. Be able to work in a fast paced front office environment. Must be able to multitask, prioritize duties, and have strong organizational skills.

Experience:

Prior experience in a healthcare office with knowledge of insurance authorizations and billing preferred.

Physical Demands:

Position is moderate and requires frequent standing, bending pushing/pulling interspersed with walking to and from various locations. Excellent verbal and listening skills required for communicating clearly and effectively with others. Ability to bend, stretch, reach, handle/finger delicate items required. Ability to carry items up to 5 lbs. Reasonable accommodation will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential physical demands.
