Job Title: Claims Coordinator

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Claims Coordinator. This role will report to the Supervisor and enable us to continue to scale in the healthcare industry.

What You'll Do:

  • Daily scanning and entry of claims data
  • Expected to be able to identify and sort the different types of claims submissions
    • Ex. First time submissions vs. Appeals/Disputes
  • Organizes mail and ensures claims on the inventory are properly assigned
  • Post scanning – responsible for inquiries on claim/package location
  • Compiles claim reports for monthly Health Plan audits
  • Forwards/routes response letters and finalized claim details to appropriate entity by mail, fax, etc.
  • Maintain knowledge of Company policies and procedures
  • Perform other claims related duties as assigned within the Claims department

Minimum qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10 key by touch. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel a plus

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • This position is in office. The office is located at 1600 Corporate Center Dr. Monterey Park, CA 91754. Upon a successful training period, you will have the potential to work hybrid where the expectation is to work both in office and at home on a weekly basis. To continue to work a hybrid schedule, our expectation is for you to remain in good standing status.
  • The target pay range for this role is between $16.50 - $28.50 per hour. This salary range represents our national target range for this role.
