Want to join this mission critical effort? Modine is currently hiring Chiller Sheet Metal Fabricators to use a variety of mechanical tools and measuring devices to select forming dies and performs simple set ups on presses, brakes, trimming machines, and automatic stock feeders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work from pattern, print or layout plate and check the first few pieces against blueprints
• Complete production run
• Spot-checks pieces in process
• Lubricate part and die as required
• Stack parts in box or on skid
• Install guards
• Adjust pullbacks and light curtains
• Use lockout/tagout procedures
• Handle dies with powered industrial trucks and manual hand trucks or die lift truck.
• Report improper equipment operation and defective materials to Supervisor.
• Records time and production
• Work eight-hour shift concurrently with other plant operations. Periodic daily and weekend overtime as production schedules demand.
• May be assigned task of training new/transferred employees as required
• Other essential functions as may be assigned

Qualifications:

• Requires reading, writing, adding, subtracting, ability to operate powered industrial trucks and manual hand trucks, and following of instructions
• Must be able to successfully master all elements of training control document for this job
