POSITION SUMMARY:

The Y BASE/21st Century Account Manager coordinates multiple activities, resulting in increased quality and consistency of SCCPSS programs. This position provides day-to-day operating functions essential to the ongoing success of these programs by facilitating account transactions and maintaining communication between various stakeholders. This position requires a flexible individual willing to assist will different tasks that support the daily operations of YBASE and 21st Century. In addition, every position in the YMCA of Coastal Georgia, Inc is responsible for upholding the Judeo-Christian principles that are central to our mission by modeling behaviors that exemplify the four pillars of character - caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Manages overall enrollment in the Y BASE program. Including capacities, registration, transfers, withdrawals, site rosters, and site waitlist.

2. Builds and facilitates a positive working relationship between the YMCA and SCCPSS 21stCentury school sites by communicating with staff and being available as a resource to new and existing employees. Assists with training new 21st Century employees on basic policies and YMCA time keeping system.

3. Resolves 21stCentury employee timecard issues and audits biweekly time submitted for accuracy.

4. Will be lead point of contact for participant accounts, including past due and collection accounts, corrections, credits, and program verification.

5. Will assist with dependent care and CAPS submissions.

6. Maintains YBASE social media page. Regularly and effectively communicates with parents through phone calls and emails.

7. Foster a culture of community with, and between, families and staff. Lead office staff to provide excellent customer service.

8. Answer phones, file paperwork, organize materials, receive records, and receive payments and other clerical duties related to daily Pryme Tyme operations.

9. Provide for the proper storing and maintaining site records including child registrations according to YMCA and grant policies.

10. Provides for upkeep of assigned program facilities and equipment and ensures thephysical environment supports healthy living.

11. Attends after hours and weekend meetings to include staff meetings, trainings, special events, and quarterly 21stCentury community meetings.

12. Assist in the Annual Campaign for the YMCA of Coastal Georgia.

13. Maintain a positive and cheerful attitude with staff, parents and children.

14. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 1. Two years related experience preferred, as an office or accounts manager in a related field.

2. Associates degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

3. Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various school sites, meetings, and community events.

4. Must be able to effectively use office applications and equipment including computer, Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Core, and social media pages. Ability to answer phone calls and take credit card payments as needed.

5. Typical requirements within 30 days of hire include completion of: Child Abuse Prevention for Supervisory Staff; Working with Program Volunteers; CPR; First Aid; AED; Blood borne Pathogens; annual state licensing training.

6. Must be able to fulfill criminal background check and obtain authorization to work with children as required by Bright from the Start regulations.

7. Must be at least 21 years of age.

8. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of
the community.

Sufficient strength, agility and mobility to perform essential functions of position and to safely supervise children’s activities.

Pay: From $35,568.00 per year
