The Evaluation Team at PCG conducts needs assessments, process, outcome, impact, policy and fiscal evaluations, and quality service reviews; the team also works closely with clients regarding data collection, management, visualization and dissemination in a broad range of sectors including behavioral health, public health, child welfare and justice.

Responsibilities:
Overall Responsibilities:

Conduct in depth case record reviews and interview key stakeholders, including caseworkers, supervisors and families, to assess quality case practice and measure outcomes for children and families. Navigate multiple online systems to collect, report and justify findings.


Specific Responsibilities:
    • Assist team in the implementation of quality assurance and research tasks.
    • Implement federally prescribed evaluation methodologies and tools. Proactively ask questions when guidance is needed.
    • Conduct qualitative and quantitative data collection, including completing stakeholder interviews and case record reviews.
    • Demonstrate awareness of resources available to clients and other project team members.
    • Clean and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
    • Assist with quantitative and qualitative analyses.
    • Participate in trainings to understand the service delivery system for programs which are administered by states and monitored by federal regulators.


Required Skills:
    • Ability to work both in a team environment and autonomously.
    • Casework knowledge of child welfare and youth services.
    • Excellent organizational and written communication skills.
    • Strong verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to clearly document findings and relevant support details.
    • Strong writing skills.
    • Travel up to approximately 50% is required.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Qualifications:
Required / Preferred Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • One to two years casework experience in child welfare and/or youth services.
    • Knowledge of or experience with state and local government programs and services.
Location: Louisiana (preferred)
