POSITION SUMMARY - Here’s some details!!!
- Lot’s of hours, but we need staff from 8:30am-11:15am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturdays.
- We are also looking for staff who are also available evenings from 4:30PM- 8:30PM. Great hours for high school students!!
- Additional hours available if interested in teaching enrichment classes such as arts and crafts, movement, dance, etc.
- Pay range is $14.15-$15.50
- Additional hours available for pickup.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for working in the Childwatch room during hours of operation.
- Help promote family events
- Creates and assists staff in implementation of curriculum.
- Supervises the children, classroom by sight and sound, including daily activity plans
- Provides communication with parents/guardians about pertinent Childwatch room information.
- Awareness and adherence to all program policies and procedures as outlined in Childwatch brochure.
- Maintains program site and equipment.
- Manages a clean classroom and toys on a weekly basis.
- Attends and participates in family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and staff trainings at The Melrose Y facility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 16 years of age.
- Childcare or Babysitting experience is preferred.
- CPR, First Aid, AED certifications within 3 months of hire.
- Child Abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire date.
