GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The WISe (Wraparound with Intensive Services) Child and Family Counselor is responsible for providing mental & behavioral health services as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team. Teams will work with youth and families who have complex needs and who are involved in multiple systems (juvenile justice, child welfare, special education, substance abuse, etc). The Counselor will work with youth and families in their home, school, and communities. The WISe Counselor reports to the Clinical Manager. This is full time non-exempt position based out of the Lynnwood office. Annual salary $62,296. Bi-Lingual/Bi-Cultural candidates are encouraged to apply. JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in human services/ behavioral sciences or related field
- Agency Affiliated Counselor credential (may be obtained upon hire)
- One or more years direct service with high risk children and families
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Experience navigating different systems (schools/families)
- Experience working with trauma issues
- Excellent organizational/administrative skills with good computer skills
- Commitment to confronting racism, sexism, heterosexism, and other discriminatory practices
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
- Ability to adapt to change
- Sense of humor
