We are looking for an energetic and playful Child Development Specialist (CDS) in San Jose! Whether you are entry-level or experienced, we provide a comprehensive two week training that provides you with adequate skills and knowledge prior to working with our kiddos!

What does a CDS do on a day-to-day basis?

A CDS provides one-to-one direct therapy in a natural environment, either in-home or out in the community, with children from ages birth to 8 years old. CDS' work closely with each Parent/Guardian and child to increase the acquisition of skills in all areas of childhood development using play therapy.

Status:

Part-Time or Full-Time employee: work availability must be anywhere between 8am - 7pm, **Saturday a minimum of 3 hours

Compensation:

$16 - $22 per hour (depending on experience)

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree, preferred

Bilingual, a plus

Ability to think out of the box, adapt to the environment, and maintain professionalism

Access to a reliable vehicle and be comfortable commuting within a 40-mile radius from home location

Proof of auto insurance and driver’s license

Proof of TB

Proof of CPR/FA certification

Proof of COVID vaccination or religious or medical accommodations

Successful completion of a background check
