Full Time Position
Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 2:00pm
Select Fridays & Saturdays: 4:30 - 10:30pm
Select Sundays: 11:30 - 5:30pm
Lead counselor is responsible for planning small group activities and independently managing small groups of children.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan children’s activities and manage groups of children.
- Communicate with respect to other staff members, parents, and children. · Maintain safe play and activities.
- Professionally interact with parents and report how their child’s day went. · Interact with and get to know the kids in attendance.
- Complete opening, mid-day, and closing cleaning duties.
- Employ active supervision on the playground, walk around and interact with children.
- Complete all required trainings, including CPR & First Aid
Requirements
Must have a high school diploma or GED, associates degree preferred.
Must have prior experience working with children in a childcare setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
