Child Care Group Leader – Cooinda OSHClub

Permanent Full-time position ~ 38 hours per week
Before and After School Care
Base annual salary plus allowances ($65,000 - $75,000 plus superannuation)

The role in a nutshell
Take charge of the running of this OSHC service and lead a team to provide a fun and quality program built by the children, for the children.
Your service is Cooinda OSHClub which is running successfully with consistent, dedicated staff that know the ins and outs of the day to day, and most importantly have formed lifelong memories with the children and families. Are you ready to be our next Champion of Children?

What to expect
As the Group Leader, you will take ownership of your very own OSHC service. This includes:
Mentor and develop a team of Educators
Creative licence to design and deliver value driven programs
Ensure NQF compliance of your service
Foster the outstanding existing relationship with the school and community links
Develop fun, child-driven activities
Utilise the interests and passions of children and staff in your service for creative programs
Planning and resourcing healthy eating menus
As the Group Leader You’ll be designing and delivering fun and exciting programs and activities and building and maintaining fantastic relationships with our schools and partners.
This opportunity required commitment during the school term and holiday program, Monday to Friday, as a guide: Before School Care runs 7:00am – 9:00am, and After School Care runs 2:00pm – 6:00pm, plus 8 administration hours to total 38 hours per week.
About you

Commitment to our company values and philosophy
Diploma/Bachelors qualified within relevant discipline, or enrolled
3 years Child Care or relevant equivalent industry knowledge and experience, minimum of 12 months related experience in an OSHC environment
Bring your experience working with and supporting teams to achieve results
A current Working with Children’s Check
The ability to pass a National Police Check
Valid Working Rights to work in Australia
