Chief of PMO Staff


Amentum is seeking a Chief of PMO Staffing Team for the Falls Church office.

In this role, the Resource Manager leads the Metro PMO Staffing Team’s efforts to onboard qualified candidates to Metro, while maintaining compliance with customer requirements and employment laws, policies, and procedures. The Resource Manager will work out of our location in Falls Church, VA for 40 hours per week.

Education & Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited U.S. college or university
  • 5 plus years full lifecycle recruiting experience
  • At least 1 year of leadership or managerial experience leading a team of 5 or more people
  • Must posses a high level Government issues clearance at the time of application

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to identify Amentum or SubK candidates, assess their qualifications, and then help qualified candidates onboard as efficiently as possible
  • Leverage verbal and written communication skills to work closely and collaboratively with PMO colleagues, Amentum recruiters, SubK partners, and customer staff
  • Identify and rectify impediments, gaps, or inefficiencies to improve staffing metrics and customer staffing requirements
  • Communicate frequently with corporate and customer stakeholders regarding the status of candidates, program staffing trends, and staffing metrics
  • Develop and brief staffing-related deliverables on a monthly basis to corporate and customer audiences
  • Advise PM/DPM on appropriate compensation for candidates based on market, labor category, and level
  • Manage, mentor, and develop other members of the Staffing Team
  • Assist PM and DPM in communicating with the COTR Team
  • Assist PM and DPM with appropriate reports and information to maintain compliance with customer and contract requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Experience working in a fluid, fast-paced environment supporting multiple stakeholders with varied requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in tracking metrics and reporting on staffing developments
  • Familiarity with government contracting, specifically within the cleared space
  • Ability and willingness to provide innovative solutions to resolve complex staffing or recruiting challenges
  • High level of emotional intelligence and a desire to foster teamwork
  • Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
  • Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision
