Currently seeking a Full-time Chemical Mixer

Great Temp to Hire Opportunity

Pay Rate - $18 Per Hour

1stShift: Monday – Thursday 7:00am-5:30pm

Fridays if needed 7:00am-3:30pm

(Must be available for overtime if needed)

Responsibilities include:

• Sets up and start all mixing tanks and blenders
• Ensures correct ingredients are used for each batch
• Pumps and pours chemicals into blend tanks in predetermined quantities
• Operates equipment (mixers, scales, meters, pumps, forklifts, etc.) safely
• Monitors raw material usage on each blend are added correctly with right weights
• Ensures all raw materials returned to inventory have the right quantity and information on containers and containers are in good condition
• Follows lab instructions regarding batch approval, adjustments, and any additional requirement.
• Communicates with material handlers and packers when materials are needed, and batches are ready to pack
• Completes all paperwork and batch documentation in a timely manner
• Observes safety requirements set forth by company

Key Qualifications & Experience

• 2 years of experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Previous chemical batch processing experience strongly preferred
• Excellent multi-tasking skills
• Self-starter with ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Team player with professional positive demeanor
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Ability to manipulate 55-gallon drums of chemicals
• Must be able to bend, sit, stand, twist, stoop for long periods of time and be able to work with changing noise levels
