The Chef II is responsible for maintaining principles of proper food production and other related activities and for the preparation and cooking of foods according to established recipes and procedures. Maintains high standards of food handling and cleanliness in work area and is responsible for high standards of personal cleanliness and hygiene. The chef will work together with department employees to provide optimal food, nutritional and environmental services to residents, guests and staff to ensure the healing and well-being of each individual. Responsible for consistently providing the highest quality of service and hospitality to residents and their family members, co-workers, vendors, and all visitors.

Duties include and are not limited to:

Following recipes accurately

Preparing fresh and healthy meals for our residents and staff

Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout kitchen and dishwashing rooms

Stocking supplies as needed

Following all food safety guidelines

Completing required paperwork thoroughly, accurately, and on time

Developing, maintaining, and administering side work, cleaning schedules and checklists

Successful candidates will have excellent cooking and hospitality skills. If you are attentive, collaborative and value a warm, nurturing environment we can train you to do the rest.
