Strafford Care Center is actively seeking qualified candidates interested in joining our Nursing Services team as a Charge Nurse! Our continued commitment to improving the quality of our services while ensuring compassion and individualized care is delivered to all those in need, requires a team approach that encompasses all areas of patient care. Our Nursing Services department is dedicated to providing residents with Quality Focused care delivered with compassion that is founded on resident choice. Our Charge Nurses will not only lead but also engage and work directly with their team to ensure residents receive the care needed under the Charge Nurses supervision. At Strafford Care Center our team-based approach to care requires candidates that are knowledgeable in their entire scope of practice some duties might include but are not limited to;

• Ensuring all residents recieve appropriate care within your scope of practice.
• Accurately and efficiently deliver resident care in accordance with each residents individualized plan of care.
• Ensure your care team; consisiting of Certified Medication Technicians, Certified Nursing Assistants, and Nursing Assistants is providing excellent care to our residents within their scope of practice and in accordance with nursing standards of practice as well as regulatory requirements.
• Leading your care team to ensure duties are completed which lead to both excellence in floor operations as well as patient care.
• Medication Administration
• Wound Care
• Provide accurate and objective documentation.
• Communicate with physicians, families, guardians, and residents about changes in condition, treatment changes, and other needed information.
• Other duties as assigned.
