Responsibilities

Offer pastoral support to patients of all ages, employees, volunteers, and visitors as required for all faiths. Is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization. This position supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology
Minimum two (2) years of pastoral experience in Healthcare
Ability to minister to patients and families in crisis

Exceptional verbal communication skills

Ability to plan, organize, and exercise independent judgement

Ability to be open, flexible, and ecumenical

Knowledge of beliefs and practices of cultures related to death and dying

Possesses a sympathetic attitude toward caring for patients

Certification from the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC) or the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC) preferred


Pay Range

$17.93 - $24.66 /hour
