The Channel Development Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with assigned channel partners. The Channel Development Manager will focus on recruiting and onboarding partners as well as assisting channel partners in achieving assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the acquisition/recruitment of new partners, ensuring that they are suitable for the SYSPRO ecosystem
- Assist in the successful onboarding of new partners in the region
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts
- Ensures customer retention by establishing professional relationships, assisting partners during sales and facilitating channel partner feedback
- Proactively leads a joint partner process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship in the sales cycle, according to the prescribed corporate sales methodology
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (i.e. Business, Technology etc.)
- 3 years plus experience in Channel sales working with multiple partners
- Good track record in Sales and Channel business development & retention in software environment (Preferably ERP Sales)
- Demonstrated ability to lead sales cycles
- MBA
- Project management skills
- Problem solving ability
- Ability to understand technical information
- Ability to work under pressure
- Deadline driven
- Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Presentation and facilitation skills
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Ability to think laterally under pressure
- Outstanding attention to detail
