Job Summary:
The goal of this job Channel Account Manager is to grow our sales and market share in the B2B, Distribution, Government & Education K-12 channel. You will be responsible for developing and growing the corporate sales channel and for developing and implementing account strategies for our Solo luggage and travelware brand. Major focus will be on the expansion into these channels by adding and growing new accounts, and channel partners.

What the role will entail:
  • Develop and manages the business development activities for prospects and assigned customers, VARS and distributors.
  • Prepare the annual business development plan though research, market analysis and, business reporting.
  • Tracks and manages the promotional sales, budget and developing new promotional campaign.
  • Must have experience with prospecting, account management, and RFQ Management.
  • Drives efforts to meet/exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop and present strong sales presentations to prospective customers.
  • Maintain Hubspot CRM sales opportunity pipeline tracker
  • Build rapport with key decisions makers and influencers to improve Solo brand competitive positioning.
  • Supports in the administration of forecasting and planning.
  • Attends trade shows and industry-related functions.
  • Proactively research and hunt for target organizations and identify potential prospects.
  • Generate and pursue quality leads and establish join meetings with prospects and VAR’s.
  • Prepares and supports the RFQ process and submitting proposals to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with internal operations department on end delivery solutions to help manage customer logistics set-up.
What the qualifications for the job are:

  • Minimum of BS with 5 years of proven track record building multi-level relationship across channel partners and growing business/market share
  • Experience in engaging with mid-tier and C-Level executives with necessary business acumen to uncover needs, discuss solutions and demonstrate value
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics functions.
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM tools
  • Ability to work through the process from customer sales presentation, RFQ management, internal brief, product development and delivery execution.
  • Extensive travel required.
What a candidate must do to be successful:
  • Proven track record of building multi-level relationships across channel partners and growing business/market share in the distribution, government and education (K-12) channels.
(History supporting Ingram Micro or SYNNEX and supporting the distribution channel)
  • Ability to identify new growth opportunities and set an action plan to increase revenue and sales
  • Understand how to develop and maintain account marketing calendars and quarterly programs.
  • Have a solid comprehension of managing marketing budget to support and grow sales.
  • Understand margin calculations and be accountable for setting customer pricing.
