Job description

We are looking for a chair side dental assistant who will become part of a growing and expanding private family dental practice. Our practice is investing heavily in the newest technologies to enhance the patient experience and to provide pain free dentistry. The practice has maintained a loyal family like patient base for over 30 + years and our patients demand and deserve the highest levels of service and respect.

Our short term goals are to become a fully "goop free" dental office and the candidate should be familiar or have the capacity to utilize a fully digital work flow. The candidate should be able to not only chair side assist, but become an expert in discussing all details of treatment with patients. This entails explaining all risks and benefits of procedures prior to the dentist entering the room and during the procedure to keep the patient calm and comfortable. The candidate should also excel in discussing costs of treatment and insurance benefits to maximize same day dentistry.

We currently provide patient care Monday- Thursday's with Monday- Wednesday being full days (~8 am - 5pm) and Thursday being a "sprint" day from ~7 am to 2 pm. Usually, on Thursday afternoons and Friday's we transition our focus to more administrative/ laboratory tasks and the hours can become more dynamic. There is a possibility for some Friday "sprint day's" in the immediate and near future. The ability to reach your personal hourly goals will be met, and if 40 hours is required, this can be achieved.

We are looking for an energetic new team member to help take our practice to the next level and the ideal candidate will be compensated according to their personal skill set(s). A series of working interview(s) are a must for this position to ensure your goals and expectations are aligned with our team and that you are an ideal fit for the practice. Clinical references will be extensively vetted and the utmost levels of privacy and respect will be maintained in the process.
