What you will do:

The position is responsible for dispensing medications to and collecting co-pays from patients of the health center. This position also collaborates with health center management to create system-wide policies and procedures for operating the programs, and then work with health center staff to operate these programs.

What you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduation from an accredited pharmacy technician program is required.
• Pharmacy Technician certification required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of care team and other colleagues.
• Ability to interpret and apply guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to use good reasoning and judgment.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills.
• Demonstrate good listening, customer service skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
DVCH requires all employees, regardless of position, to be vaccinated and stay up to date with vaccinations for COVID-19. If an employee is unable receive the vaccine for medical or religious reasons, a vaccine exemption form must be completed.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Norristown, PA 19401: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Pharmacy technician experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• Spanish (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Pharmacy Technician Certification (Preferred)
