QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current Ohio MHAS certification as a Certified Peer Supporter (or equivalent certification from another state that is recognized by Ohio)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Certified Peer Supporter’s role is to support others in recovery who have a substance use disorder. The Certified Peer Supporter must demonstrate an ability to share personal recovery experiences and to develop authentic peer-to-peer relationships.
• Maintain project logs, reports and records in appropriate files and database(s).

Townhall II has been serving Portage County residents for over 50 years. It is a “grassroots” organization that touches the lives of many people, supporting people who often feel helpless and hopeless. Our programs include alcohol and drug addiction treatment, mental health counseling, a 24 hour crisis hotline, victims of crime outreach and a variety of prevention/education programs.
