What you will do:
As a
COTA, Certified Occupational Therapist
Assistant, you will provide occupational therapy to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the primary Occupational Therapist. You will consult with the PT regarding changes in treatment, prepare documentation and participate in educating the patient and family.
Must haves
:
-
Successful completion from a COTA program
-
Unencumbered CA License to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.

Proficiency with electronic medical equipment
-
Must be knowledgeable of therapy/medical practices and procedures, and/or terminology, laws, regulations, and the guidelines that pertain to long-term care
-
Must be able to read, write and speak the English language sufficiently and comprehensibly enough to perform the essential functions of the job
