Immediate opening for a full-time Certified Nurse Assistant

Mon Valley Care Center is a Skilled Nursing facility; conveniently located in Monongahela; near I-70 and Rt. 43.

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: All shifts available

Pay: Temporary Covid Rate $19.00

The primary purpose of this job position is to provide your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with our established nursing care procedures and as may be directed by your supervisors. We are paying premium wages.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents
• Must be willing to work out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices
• Record all entries on flow sheets, notes, charts and electronic documentation , in an informative and descriptive manner

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Provide patient care as directed (i.e., bathing, grooming, feeding, etc.)
• Assist in transport of residents
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment
• Adhere to confidentiality requirements

Requirements:

• Must be a minimum of sixteen (16) years of age
• Must be a graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program
• Must successfully complete a Criminal Background Check
• Must successfully pass physical/drug screen
