Medina Valley is currently seeking a professional Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our compassionate nursing team.

Shift: Monday - Friday / 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Responsibilities

• Follow established facility policies and procedures to administer medications to residents in accordance with physician’s orders.
• Provide care to residents following facility policies and procedures. ·
• Report residents’ needs and concerns to a licensed nurse.
• Requisition adequate medications and supplies to administer mediations in a timely manner. ·
• Participate in supervision of care provided to residents.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current permit as a Medication Aide (MA) and a current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification valid in the State of Texas and be in good standing.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience with medication aide duties preferred.
• Physical & sensory abilities commensurate with this position to include but not limited to frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
• Must be fully COIVD19 vaccinated
